It sounds like your whole computer may be freezing & not a wireless mouse issue. Does your keyboard still work when the mouse stops responding? Press the 'windows' key. Does the start menu come up?

If u have any cats on the house, take them out and seal the doors. Then ur mouse will work at full effeciency once more.

you were definately rigt.. happened again.<also it has nothing to do with wiggling the usb port> i pressed the windows key, it did nothing.. then i tried control, alt, delete nothing again. im gonna check my screen settings.. i know i am on power saver mode.maybe that is the problem , ill shut that of first and check the other settings as well. starting with shutting that off for now see if it makes a difference , i dont really know what that does when i have it on...

that was it... it was going into sleep mode.. then it shuts off after 20 min. i saw the lights still on when i pressed on the power button on i got that user screen. , i thought the computer was still on. so id then have to turn it all the way off again. so turning it on from power saver mode to high performance mode worked and also turning it off to not shut down after 20 min after it as sleeping worked...
