have you taken to increase your chances in the dating world?

Someone said they didn't like the fact that I never answered my own posts... lol ... I can't answer this one though, I've had the same gf for the last two years.

I am currently with someone, so this doesn't apply to me now. But, all I was doing before was living my life and meeting new people to make friends. Just being myself and staying out there, I guess.

Since I don't have any options for meeting people in real life, I've spent some time trying out various dating sites, just to see what's out there.

For the most part, it's pretty bleak. Historically, I will stay on a site for a few months; just long enough to ascertain that there is no compatibility to be found there. Then I'll try another one.

With the recent trend toward more specialized sites, I'm hoping to one day find a site which will be a better "fit" for me.

I know you don't want to date a woman with children, but it eliminates so many women. What if you met a woman with children and just agreed not to live together. Since you only date locally you'd still be together a lot and you could just make it clear that you wanted to be kept separate from her children. Of course, this wouldn't really work if their dad never had them for periods when you two could be together, but if she was sharing joint custody....would you consider that?

I went to Wal Mart the other day, dressed in nothing but a jogging outfit. I hadn't shaved in days, and I looked rough. But I didn't care. I was just going to the store to get some things. Anyways, I noticed this attractive lady...I would say in her mid thirties, well she was basically giving me "the look". At first I thought maybe I had a booger, or maybe she just wanted to know who made my jogging suit. But I wasn't blind to that look once I really caught her, and she quickly turned away. Tis when I knew my game was back. I looked rough as hell and she was checking me out. WooHoo.

I've tried that, several times, and it doesn't work. Turns out that it isn't just the kids, per se, that create the roadblock -- it's the adjunct mentality that arises from having them.

I can understand that. Okay, I'll stop trying to solve your love life problems.

I've noticed that the more disgusting I look, the more attractive I seem to be, no idea why. Maybe some people like the "natural" look?

Last year August I traveled back to Europe..spent 2 weeks there, and without actually looking or searching, I spent almost every evening of talking to women, who I have the phone numbers and email addresses and they wouldn't mind going out with me.

Here in the USA...this is like in the middle of Sahara.

work more, longer hours, avoid all social life activities by working more as often as possible-- and spend all my free time working out lifting weights or running. taking care of my body better, and when I do run into people I'm attracted to try to spark up a conversation or at the very least, say hello and introduce myself.

I know my methods are terrible, but this is me and the way I like to live my life. I like to work and work hard, earn my money and I like to build and sculpt my body the way I want it to look. I'm not shallow, I just expect so much more out of myself. Meeting people is easy though, just dont be shy. Say hello.
