Spanish broom

when it blooms it smell just like a grape soda

really strong you can smell it from 20 feet away

I enjoy Huneysuckle because it brings the hummingbirds. Those little birds are amazing! My folks have a pair that live here year round!

Then there are the ones that are just pretty like ladyslipper. And the one that my Grandmother always scared the little kids with: Snapdragons. Have any of you ever made dolls with Hollyhock blooms?

My hoya plants (wax plants) with nifty flowers, the Thanksgiving/Xmas cactus that bloom about every three months for me. The Bottlebrush plants, Wisteria, and of course roses.

Geez! The daffodils we've got planted here were growing up in Novemeber! Silly things!

On the plus side, everything is starting to bud out. Gotta love Texas!
