Baptized by time....

The Glass ceiling came shattering down within my heart.
Like sand in the wind baptized by time.
Conversation fades away into the darkness of heartache.
A season of change quietly approaches my heart.

Baptized by time....seasons change.


Chains of inward conflictions melt through the cracks of a broken heart.
Daily leaving the baggage of the past outside the door of my heart.
Relationships are a give and take held within the contours of life.
Like a hourglass of emotions slipping away into the past.

Baptized by time....seasons change.


Forever will come slowly, day by day.
Destiny is found within each breath you take.
Heartache is a memory that slow danced across my emotions.
Tears customized by every regret.

Baptized by time....seasons change.


Promises became lies on a sea of glass.
Tears like stars reflected upon past night skies.
Still, it's just a moment within loves eternity.
Tomorrow will come upon the horizon of each day.
Love is the promise given at the beginning of each day.
