      Nightingale

The night stays long, in the darkened still. Waiting for love. A song to thrill. A wink, a word, that hapless glance. Written on gossamer threads, a hope, a chance. In the echo, heard in their night, two lovers will kiss. Thus, will end their blight. Raine Les 1/14/2010 |
