Topic: Its Done | |

Well its done.
Ive sold my businesses and moving somewhere else. I'm honestly really looking forward to the new project that I'm undertaking. But, Somehow I still have this hollow feeling that I have failed. I guess its because I sold off my businesses before I had totally obtained my goals with it. Or maybe along the way I got married and couldn't hold my marrage together at the same time as working on my businesses. It could also be the fact that I put so much into it and lost so much building it, to just sell it. At the same time I recieved an offer I couldn't refuse, doing pretty much the same thing I was doing here, just in a much larger market. Hell, it maybe just the fact that I'm an idiot for letting myself feel this way. But its been bothering me for several days now. I just have a real hard time talking about things that bother me or how I'm feeling. (You get told your whole life, starting really young by your parents, that everyone else has more of a right to have feeling than you do and see if it dosent effect you in a negative way.) Please excuse me on this one, I just wanted to put it in words, with the hope that my reading it would put things into perspective for me. |

Keep an open mind......When one door closes another opens. Relax. Sometimes ending something is NOT a failure; but the best course of action. Somethings are meant to end; sometimes even sooner than we are ready for them to end. It's not necessarily a "failure" as you put it. I don't know if you have "faith" but only GOD really knows the future. Maybe you just need to trust that things will be what they will be. Good Luck and stop beating yourself up.

I've been doing well, thank you. I've not been here for a little while.
I never did try those flavors. I guess that I should since they sold well. So you ended up using both of them. lol I'm glad that they worked out for you. |

No matter where you are in life there is someone out there that would give anything to be there. Always be proud of what you have done and where you are at.
If the time has come for you to move on and you actually see it then grab that shinning star and hold on. Very few get the chance to make that dream. Just know where you have been is much farther then most has been. Never regret where you have been or where your heart desires to be........run with it while the chance is there........... If you don't you will look back 20 years from now and wonder why?????????????? |

well that's a sh!tty way to feel; I know how it is though except no one is buying my business from me, I'm simply going to go under at the end of this year and throw the towel in because I think I'd be happier doing something else anyway. Giving up is the crappy part, but I don't really feel like a failure so much as I feel like I hit a slippery part of a slope and am going to have to work my way back up. Hope you find happiness where ever you're headed and in the new "project". :D

Birthing a bussiness is very much like createing a child and raiseing it. It is normal to have a sense of and empty nest to sell it. If you have to go to work for someone else it won't really replace the social position you have enjoyed. Others have been there and you may want to find peers to support you until you feel ready to go after the next leg of the journey.
