According the day I signed up, I had just broken up with my ex.

Met some cool people - physically met some not cool people.

The dating choices in my area on this site are near non-existent. The forums sucked me in; the only reason I'm still here. I've had the pleasure of chatting with some pretty cool characters here too.

... that is really weird, because January 15'th, 2008 is the day I broke up with my girlfriend. Hehe. No joke.

I came here for the poetry, and stayed for the friends.

Actually, I don't think we broke up ON January 15th. I think it was a couple of days before.

I remember the precise date because it's my friend's birthday. Crazy.
I keep starting threads hoping to wake up the under 30's crowd.

I mean, damn... by the time we get this popping I won't be eligible to post here anymore, it seems.

I've seen the best minds of my generation... weeping goth angels, pies in the sky, and kids with their tongue stuck out not having fun with a forum that was basically invented for us to play with.

It's like The Matrix, but nobody can fly... except for that pie... and now I want pie.

I did that thing where you spin a globe and stop if with your finger to see where you should go. I ended up in Maui. Sweet.

Came here because I was getting divorced, stayed for the forums. But I agree with one of the previous posters....it's been getting REALLY slow here

Maui is AWESOME!!!!!! Go...even live in a tent on the beach if you have to!
