I did it for about a year-5 days a week. Local events, would put a cardboard sign on the door in my office and phone it in. One day it was hectic and I read events that were from the previous week. Talk about embarrassing. I have lots of good memories from concerts and probably a little hearing loss. I do karaoke because it still frightens me. My staple is Tracy Chapman-Give Me One Reason. I also do two Evanescence songs. |

I'm going to try to coerce pkd into doing karaoke of "Fast Car" by Tracy Chapman on February 20'th.
I take life too seriously... I worry too much. I'm glad I didn't get that job at the store down the road. Everyone that works there always looks UNUSUALLY miserable, even for a low-paying retail job. |

I love fried chicken too, gossip.
I try to make work fun, but you should see the weird job positions I've had... and they're all lower rung. When I sold TV's I would alternate the volume levels between really low and really high on every other TV, so when you walked through the aisle they were all in you would get vertigo. Or I would put every single TV on a separate station at the exact same volume and watch people pass by disoriented. |
