The US helps Israel because the Jewish lobby, the neo cons, the Zionists have too much political, economical and media powers .

It could have something to do with the Jews who own most of our: banks, publishing houses, news media, movie studios, record companies, oil companies, manufacturing plants, ore deposits, etc. It may also have to do with: America claiming to be a Christian nation, Christ being King of Israel, and all non-Christians coming together to attack Israel in the last days.

Revelation,and other scriptures, make it clear that if you are Christian you are a spiritual Jew, and a supporter of Israel, and if you oppose Israel, you are aligned with the Anti-Christ, and are an enemy of Christ. Would you rather we send foreign aid to the Islamic nations which launch terror attacks against us? Israel stands up to the terrorists better than we do. They deserve some help for that. If Israel were no longer there, the terrorists would be on us full time. Even if Israel never existed, the Muslim extremists want to get Amereica's wealth,and to pay it back for the Catholic Crusades England, and Italy, launched millenia ago. America is largely Catholic, so hurting America hurts Catholicism. Islamic terrorists are out to harm America no matter what we do, or don't do, in regard to Israel. Because after World war two the Jews didn't have many places to go and it was largely up to the United states to find a new home for them.After the United nations decided that Isreal would be their new home it was up to the United states to protect them.We have been protecting them and giving them money ever since then and we probably always will.Isreal is also our friend and ally in Wars.Even if we didn't like Isreal it would make sense just to use the country as a military back up in case of a major war in the Middle east.

Whoa, does any scholar Christian not have a problem with this assertion? Remember the whole Jews vs Gentiles controversy from Matthew through Romans? Seems to me, God and Jesus are just a wee bit pissed off at the Jews. How arrogant and lost they have become, as it was then so is it now. And Israel is the chosen people? Who said that, some rogue monk in the 6th century? Part of the reason why there is so much turmoil in the Middle East is the U.S.' interference in matters that don't concern us, buying Saudi oil, and feeling sorry for the Jews after the holocaust. We brought our own conflict upon us by siding with Israel while at the same time befriending the Saudi government, even though most Saudi nationals hate the U.S.A. The sooner we divorce this tragic and toxic relationship with Israel, the sooner we can make peace with the Middle East. Probably the silver bullet to ending the conflict and having a target painted on our backs. Israel is insignificant on the war on terror.
