I Have Seen Love
I have seen love ask, when all there could've been was hate. Reaching into that place, where putrid lies would not abate. Yes, I have seen love. task. And when nothing else was left but amputated, scattered pride spread like seeds and thrown, to grow, where little known, they cried, I have seen hate want love. to bask. It is not without sacrifice. A death to life, to hope, the blind to see. I have felt the bitter grate and drag me through my own street. In rage denied and shout no accolades, for hate, to love and love to ask, a task, and bask His Love..no mask..I have seen love. He came to me called by my name, forgiven, eternally. Raine Les 1/2/2010 i added to your poem jesus has love for everyone around as you wear a cross nite and day, as where you tend to kneel with a prayer so to keep. the cross is for power, as well proud of who and you have become, you have worn the cross of a reminder of our savior, no matter what problem arisis he is there. (i too have seen him) |
