they look at u when you're not made up cause you're not made up! you're
not looking for attention or them. you don't want it at that time so that makes u a challenge. they're the 1st ones 2 say, I don't want any drama or games!" but that's not true. they're instinct takes over & they want to hunt. when you're made up, they consider you to be on the prowl or make, & therefor an easy target & no challenge. game over! they know they've one. so now i don't dress to empress anyone but myself, & believe me when i say i'm no barbie or goddess. i'm not an ogar either. i'm just like everyone else. but i can't believe that at my age, weight, & disposition, i don't have enough arms to fight them off. i never had this problem when i was younger & i was much better looking. foxy lady type. it's cause i've learned to like myself the way i am & i'm not looking AT ALL! i don't feel i need a man in my life 2 make me happy. i make myself happy. |

To: Janedoe And Oddangel... Here is the reason from my point of view.
When I see a woman that is so very attractive, and dressed up in what apears to be real nice clothes, (dress, hair made up nice, makeup on to perfection, etc...), and here I am just an average looking guy, I feel like I would never stand a chance of getting to know you or ever dating you, and that most likely you aleady have some guy that you are very happy with, so therefore I will not even approach you. But, when you do not dress up so much, but still dress in an attractive way, (hair brushed nice, not a lot of makeup, jeans, and nice t-shirt, etc...), then I would feel more at ease in walking up to you and talking with you, and just might stand a chance of being able to take you out on a date sometime. This is just MY point of view and does not speak for every guy out there. |
So it's not just the suspenders. I feel better now. :)
wow...........strange you feel that way dave....so good looking girls
are not in the reach and unavailable>>????? |
no shenerd... it is not your suspenders...lol
its the glasses...lol jk |
Too bad I can't see without em... :)
well Gypsy, to me, that is the way that I see it given that I am not a
guy that looks like any Addonis supermodel, and feel like a woman who does look like a model would not be attracted to me. |
But I will say this also, what I lack in the looks department, I make up
for in kindness, and caring love for the woman that I do get with. |
Hey Dave, don't worry about it. Just don't wear suspenders on a first
date like I did. Biiiiiiiig mistake... :) |
and shenerd... I can't see without my glasses either... except up close
Maybe you need to get new ones. Can I interest you in a pair of
oversized red frames... ? |
thank you... but not that big of frame...lol
thanks for the offer anyway |
It's OK. I need to get contacts myself...
And stop hiding this adorable little face behind glasses. :)
actually for myself, glasses are best because of my work. When I am not
driving, I work in the shop and with all the stuff flying around in there, they require safety glasses anyway. |
Safety glasses, hmmmmmmmmm. Sounds like the perfect nerd accessory
(just kidding)... :) |
