 We havent had it ALL that long.They just did a up grade on it over the weekend. I hardly ever use it thou.. |

The few times I've used IM it's been iffy. Instead of a bell or
something to get your attention it pops up in a little box at the bottom of your screen (on mine anyhow) and you either don't notice it until you navigate away from JSH or you close it out thinking it's a pop up. Also it could tell you if the person has chosen not to accept your IM instead of just leaving you wondering if they even got it. Truthfully I think I'd rather have chatrooms instead of IMs as they are now. |

I've used the JSH IM a few times and it is very slow to connect.
I'd continue with the threads method and suggest the IM's upgrade again.....definately needs more improvement.

The way you use it is when person you want to IM is online on JSH. When
they are online and you check out their profile (it will say "online now" on their profile), it give you the option to IM. (I think you get the option to IM only when the other person is online on JSH.) Just click on the option to "IM this person" and you are on your way. |
