I am for decriminalizing it. I am not sure of what legalizing it would involve. I dont believe it should be endorsed but I also dont think it should be considered criminal. Because it's a FELONY here....(Nevada) I think that it was put here by the G. GUY, as a natural relaxant. Everything else has to be tampered with (Cocaine- leaves, hashish- oils pressed, alcohol-grain, etc). Granted there are some types of smoke that people add things to, but for the most part, it's our catnip. I don't trust the govt with ANYTHING, and would really like to see them try to regulate it. Can see the problem in Denver...but for the most part people I know who smoke are very intelligent, and when you smoke, you don't want more and more like most of other drugs including alcohol, and tobacco. It's excellent for chemo and seizures (just the tip of the iceberg)...both which I have gone (go)through, better than anything else on the market that they offer for releif without horrendous side effects. In NY it's a 50.$ ticket..thats when someone is really stupid about it and is carrying. (or it was). Trafficking...like said...it was put here for us. So am on the fence...due to medical but otherwise no. |

.It is hardly a secret that the people who deal with marijuana and other drugs also dabble with murder, underage prostitution, money laundering, robbery, and other crimes.
I think that somebody has been watching reefer madness |

Is it (MJ) more or less addictive than alcohol and tobacco? I would have to say it is less addictive. You could test market an area like California, or Denver, and see how effective the new policy is. If it doesn't work out too well after a year or five, you can always pull it off the table again. At least give it a shot.

people just want to get fukced up it doesn't matter if its alcohol or weed or meth they are all intoxicants if you allow alcohol and not marijuana then you're just forcing preferences Yeah, but alcohol can be just another drink and not necessarily lead to intoxication. Marijuana is going to intoxicate,, thats the point. Still, you raise a good point. I suppose if alcohol is going to be endorsed the way it is,, MJ should have its shot as well... huh |

But hey there going to work it out . I had a friend when I was a lot younger he was a heroin addict before he was tuned on to government grade speed , after he burned his brain out he would talk to his toilet about what as going on in his life and his toilet would tell him what to do and then he would go out and kill the people that the toilet would name .. Aw drugs could tell you more but hey I have already told you to much . |

People who smoke Marijuana might jump off high buildings thinking they can fly!

all I can say is this...if it is legalized..I would want the same restrictions on it as alcohol.
I know people that drink but they don't get mean...some people do I know a few who smoke pot...they turn crazy on it. They do get paranoid...one stalked my niece. not all are mellow and lazy. either way...neither needs to be for kids or while driving. Just like you can get fired for drinking on the job...same should be for pot. JMO |

I don't indulge myself but I don't see a problem with legalization. It is no worse than alcohol so why not?

Please note, yes, with age restrictions and driving restrictions also.

There is no test to determine if a person is under the influence of Marijuana at a particular moment.

There is no test to determine if a person is under the influence of Marijuana at a particular moment. so how would you suggest testing for drivers? |
|
|
|
You can't, and there is zero proof that being stoned impairs a drivers ability.
Zero! It has been known to make people microwave babies though. |

I know some people that can't think straight let alone drive. Not to mention, it does impair the driving skills. It may slow their reaction time down or whatever. |

Almost everything you are blaming on weed was from lsd and angel dust trips...lol If you get caught driving and they test your blood, weed can be found in there, also in urine. |

Yes, but you could have smoked 2 weeks earlier. There is nothing to say you were under the influence at the time you were pulled by the cop. Nothing. |
