The main reason I stay away from Facebook.

It's really ridiculous, altho don't twitter, get the thought perhaps tweeting is pretty much the same thing. "I'm walking down my street..."
or 'am on page 457 of for "whom the bell tolls".

The only time go on there is to see pics of my great neices and my family.
That is the great part of it.

Just about anyone who has read For Whom The Bell Tolls wouldn't be bothering with Twitter in the first place....lmao

I use Facebook to keep up with my son & his family. Seems that age group really enjoys it. I can get current pics of the grandkids.
Also, finding alot of old friends. Just a different way to network.

I dig Hemmingway. And I've never even loked at Twitter

you may be on to something

I am on Face Book because a friend wanted me to help him grow his game teams (don't play them anymore) other than that I really don't bother with it. I admit to knowing very little about how it works but it seems so public to me. IM on yahoo, email, this site and the phone seem like plenty of ways to keep in touch to me. (almost forgot good old snail mail!) However I guess it is nice to be able to see pics of your family and friends.

I love Facebook! I talk to my mom, sister, grandma and far away friends all the time.

I only get Mafia Wars notifications, speaking of which, I'm recruiting.

I have two fb accounts. One for people I actually know, and one for people that bug me on the internet for my fb account. The latter has a pic of my dog and cat and they update it when they get the chance and feel the need to share about their lives. It was really exciting for my dog this week...there was snow outside and he got a new coat. I hope everyone appreciated his update. Plus his relationship with the cat is "complicated" at the moment.

What is hilarious is that guys that ask for my fb account, get really upset because it's of my pets and not me sharing my life with unknown people on the net. My pets are people too you know!!! They actually have more friends than me.

Go figure! Strangers upset by your behavior!!! LOL happens to me too, one little email from someone scrolling pics and I am supposed to give my yahoo (or whatever) to them!! Guess it happens to all of us - just a part of on line communities.

By the way, love the animal stories!

I wont accept friends invites from anyone else on there cause thats the only place on the whole internet where I use my real info and dont lie

and I block all the mafia wars and farmville stuff cause I get like 50 requests a day on that stuff

Ah...but you see...thats not quite correct.
Jill works for the EPA, does enviromental stuff up the yahoo and it just blows me away that she writes stuff like that. And she (and I both) have read Hemingway..his house BTW, is great in the keys...

I still haven't even seen a black berry. Now they're called a chocalate berry?

My facebook is mostly (90%) customers and potential customers. I have some fun there, especially chasing the owner of my heart, but it's really mostly business there.

I have facebook but I don't let anyone on there anymore, it has caused me more drama than its worth!
