I got the water back on. Was wanting to connect in for a water supply for my new bathroom that I will be putting in. I thought I would just connect in to where I took the outside water faucet in. But the threads were different on top of the tee coming into the faucet which connected to the main water supply going into the old house. So I put the faucet back in but over tightened it when trying to angle it towards the new bathroom which is going to be built. "Crack", the tee was PVC. That was last night. I did remember to flip the breaker for the hot water heater so I wouldn't burn out the top element and turned off the well pump. So this morning I put a globe valve where the faucet was and scrounged around till I got a good coupler cut off from an old straight PVC pipe. After the globe valve is a gate valve so I should be able to control forward flow from the well pump and back flow from the hot water tank. Just have to wait till I get paid to get a tee to go to the new bathroom addition. Clear as mud, huh?

Good morning, friends. Today is the last day of August and September starts, tomorrow. It has been a quiet weekend and I have to go back into work, tonight for third shift. Got the trash set to the curve for when the trash man comes. Hope he brings some shingles so I can get back to work on the roof. If not then I will try to get some Thursday so at least I can get the roof done soon. The tar paper has held good though through the small showers that we had.

Well I was, but now I'm back to work. Still seems like paradise. Met 2/3 of my students. Great kids so far. I hope it stays that way. Back in the high 90's around here again. Can't wait for it to cool off Saturday. I'm ready for fall.
