Do you try?
Do you reflect on them after waking? Do you search for meaning? Does what you come up with have an effect on your life? If you don't remember, do you care? Just curious. |

What the hell???
Now what I posted has NO relation at all to the topic. No. I don't remember my dreams. I haven't had a dream that I can remember in over 20 years. Probably longer. |

Sorry for the confusion! I realized when I hit send, I'd sent it to the wrong forum. I switched the first one over to dating and relationships and put this in its place.
It was my first crack at starting a thread. oops! :) |

I keep a recorder by my bed, also paper and pencil.. when I wake I will either talk into the mike or write down my dreams. I keep track and review. My dreams are vivid, profound and have a huge impact on my life.
I do have a very disciplined practice of meditation and routine I do to sleep which has much to do with it...it's almost sacred. |

I'm just grateful for those times when my brain does actually shut off. I only remember the weird ones. Usually of the psycho-kinetic or truly demented ones, barely qualifying as a nightmare. I think I'll pass on the skank dreams, thankyouverymuch.
That dream was pretty simple to understand. I was living out the consequence of not following my heart. It pretty much resulted in an increased commitment to the current owner of said heart. |

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It is said that you only remember the ones you awaken during.
As with most things in life, I let most dreams sit in a bin in the back of my mind until I either figure out what I was trying to tell myself, or what movie I was reworking, or they come to pass. Unfortunately, all my correct visions of future events have been either dreadfully unimportant (such as unique, but insignificant conversational sequences between various people), or so unbelievable I ignore them (like when I dreamed in 1989 that the Soviet Union had collapsed relatively peacefully). |

Most of the time I don't, but I know I've had some good, bad & crazy ones, I often thought about writing them down as soon as I woke up.

I do remember my dreams sometimes-
I used to remember them every night - but not as much now- they are very vivid and I'm usually trying to work something out in them |

I have dreams every night
with characters and plot developments just last night I was dreaming I was on a subway in a city somewhere and I got off and decide to walk a couple blocks to get home cutting through an alley I saw a bunch of chollo type gangbangers, wearing bandanas and stuff carrying guns. so I eased back into the shadows so they wouldnt see me. after they passed I stepped out of the shadows just in time to see a bunch of chinese tong looking gangsters following them and realized they were gonna ambush the chollos so I held real still so they wouldn't see me right then my alarm went off and the chinese heard it and looked right at me. They started aiming their guns at me and I woke up with a massive adrenaline rush |

I rarely remember mine. As of late, I have remembered them all. I have yet to analyze to see what they mean, but they are pretty dang strange and funny!
