hi. In NY it's 17% per child. My ex has a child from a previous marraige. When we got divorced he had to pay me 17% of his salary as well as 17% for his other child, because they were from different women.

my ex has two in indiana he pays support on and still has to pay me 25 % of his income.I just want to add here that child support is their part of paying for the child.you pay the rest.Of course most payees think we are living high on the hog off their support.
