So what's up with this Upgrade option? Last time I used the site, everything was free. Anywho, if we don't upgrade, what do we benefit from this? Can people receive the mail we sent out? And why can't we see who viewed us?

Everything is normal...which means no one is viewing you or they are invisible when they do it. You can still send and recieve e-mails, really nothing has changed aside from being able to pay and have your profile show up first in the matches and with a beautifully lined photo in yellow.

haha. it's not that i'm concerned about who views me. I clicked on the upgrade icon and on that page it states if you upgrade, you'll have the option to see who viewed you. That shouldn't cost a thing. And right now, I'm quite intrigued by the beautiful yellow lines. Man is it ever tempting!

You can already see who view you. Your soppost to see who actually matched with you. Not the ones that were thrown in.

It is my understanding that the members that were here before the upgrade came into play would be "grandfathered in", meaning the options would stay the same as before
