Thank goodness I have two young sons...and even younger neices and nephews to explain this "Phrase" to me according to their generationnoway

I thought it meant to ask you for something. Like 'if you need anything feel free to hit me up'....but I do think it means to get in contact with someone.

They said something similar..but it still makes little sense to use those choices of words to say "CALL ME"what

In my experience, it means/meant to ask for something....
might be money, but could be something else the person
needs....a place to stay for the night, a contact person,
a certain piece of information.....

"Hit Me Up" in my generation, is someone asking for something, usually $$...I usually say huh??huh??? what??? huh?? my age you know can't hear a darn thing...seems to work...:banana:
