hows the weather down there Jerry? not bad, a bit colder than I like...but I like a constant 70 degrees.. OK be nice we are all freezing up here!!! awwwww..I feel so bad for all you yankees.....hehe... yeah...don't we all.We just try to humour them anyway. I see you're a northern yankee... Canadian!!! that's what I said I thought yankees werwe just Americans. But then I have brain freeze! you mean that actually happens, brian freeze that is Thats my story and I am sticking to it! Boy oh boy.....never been in the heart of a storm before...they said it is right through Des moines ....and staying for a spell. They predict up to 2 feet here...40-45 mph winds....wind chill 20-25 below....drifts up to 10 feet.....needless to say.....Des Moines is shutting down!! The wind is starting up now...hard to see the road out back...sure hope it doesn't knock down the power lines!!! We are in this Blizzard warning until at least 6PM tomorrow night. I think that Don and Tim are not getting hit as hard. Snow is piling up here 1-2 inches per hour....WOW.... They said we have not seen a storm this bad in 1 to 3 decades... Glad I got lots of coffee and food for both me and my critters!!!!

They just shut down the air port and opened one of the malls by the interstate to stranded motorist....Motels are almost all full everywhere!!!!! No travel advised....period.

I was bored today, so my advice is: DO SOMETHING... something productive... and I guess, pray the electricity doesn't go out.... Schools are closed here tomorrow. We didn't get anything bad...winds from time to time....about 6 inches of snow from what I can tell... the kids are out shoveling my drive as I speak. Of course, I work tomorrow. I have the kind of job that is open 365 days per year/ 24-7...so you never get a day off for weather related issues.

Got lots of hugs, gifts, kisses, I love you's...don't go etc. Might be yucky outside but my heart sure is warm!!!! Even got hugs and a peck on the cheek from 5 of my 5th grade boys....now THAT is something!!!!!
