Hi everybody I need your help and I hope I can help other people in the
long run there are so called people or shall I be more specific men on
this site that are posing as widows and or single parents claiming to be
looking 4 a wife or "angel" lol I'm serious and they are in different
countries trying 2 get people 2 sell things 4 them and cash counterfeit
checks and send them the money back beware these checks look very real
and here's another hint they talk 2 u once and they already love u lol
this is no joke its serious a friend of mine had 2 suffer please tell me
has this ever happened 2 anybody on here because I think somebodies
trying 2 do that to me right now anyone out there pls respond

I get them om a fairly regular basis -- not so much on this site, but
elsewhere -- women usually claiming to be in the US, but their English
is atrocious, and they always want me to send them money in Russia or
Nigeria. Had a few from Belarus and Ukraine.

They always claim that the saw my profile and fell in love
instantaneously (I must be a better writer than I thought!) and now they
want to move to the US and move in with me and blah blah blah.

Just scammers, and the best thing you can do is report them to VC &
Mike, who will get them off the site. Whatever you do, DON'T reply to
them and DON'T send them any money. Lots of people have fallen for
these scams.

I've had it happen on another site, but not posing as a widow, just a
guy needing help.

My advice is not to do it........you can't trust people without knowing
them really well.
