offer me
the robe of a drunk who hangs out on ash street he calls himself lucifer or christ i hung around him because he got me and suicide ron drunk on revolvers and cheap wine i hate the wine drunk i hate the wine hangover i hate lucifer but i was confused about a white candle that leaked wax onto my cardboard head i am a chesshead part horse part bishop part devil i am a king but only in my delusions sometimes someone carries me in a blackout why it has not been worse i do not know but i did catch an angel peeing in the sea partisans have given me a maiden of beauty a long ago eternal light i gaze down the clover cliffs into the silver sunset laying down the fire of the iron maiden in the shadows the suns daughter reads in a dusty coffeehouse |

but i was confused
about a white candle that leaked wax onto my cardboard head i am a chesshead part horse part bishop part devil i am a king but only in my delusions ^these lines were as abstract in a poem as I have ever seen and yet for some strange reason they carried it beyond belief. an awesome insertion and the envy of all those who relate chess to life itself, me I'd rather be a pawn, we are the only ones that can change.....very nice |
