Congradulations!
I remember how happy I was when I found out I was going to be a grandmother the first time! My goodness, all the sewing for that child!! Also, I have three sons, and for each of their first born, I made a wooden cradle. They passed it down to each of their children and now all cradles are in storage, awaiting their first grandchildren. |

!! Thanks Vivian, when I was pregnant with my son my husband made a cradle and he still has it somewhere. I am sure he'll be getting it out soon. I'm not a crafts kinda person but I'm thinking I'd like to make a baby blanket. I'll keep you posted! I can't wait to see the love in my sons eyes as he looks at his own child. You know, that same way we look at them ... still.

Just love your grandchildren and help their parents if you are asked. But, only if asked. Dont offer too much advice on what you would do different.. Just spoil those grandchildren! That's what grandparents are for >..

My mother made quilts for all her grand kids...and there are a FEW of them 
I have a grandson that just turned 2 and he is the light of my life

I love making Monkey Bread. It's always a winner at work, girly coffee meetings, and the grandkids love it too. It's so easy to make. now my grandkids love to make it themselves.
