Who would you choose... Like you choose your kids first over your husband or wife. Would you choose your aunt or cousin over your husband or wife? who is more important when your married?

hopefully whoever I choose to marry wouldn't put me in that kind of spot to choose between him and my family.

If I was married, I'd choose my husband...unless he's a complete ***. My life partner should be the world to me.

Spouse first, children second (a very close second) and family third. I am wondering why you asked this, are you being asked to choose? My beloved late husband often (anytime it was a choice) put his sons before me and it caused problems. He was so guilt ridden over his divorce that he got his perspective messed up and became their friend in place of their father. You can be both but not one in place of the other....

It would all depend on the situation and why I was having to choose. So until that actually happen and I had more facts to why I was having to choose I could not even answer that....

truthfully, it depends on the relative.

my children and grandchild above every other person...my siblings and mom and aunt...and then, it might be my cousin, or it might be my mate.

my family's always been there. with some, i'm thicker than honey. with others...i could take or leave them.

There is no absolute answer for me. It depends upon the situation. If my husband asked me to sever ties with my mom,, it wouldnt happen anymore than if my mom asked me to sever ties with my husband.


however, If I had an abusive husband and my mother was always the one to come to my rescue, decided she couldnt do it anymore, and said she would have to stay out of my life if I continued with the jerk,,,the jerk would be gone.


If it were my mother who was abusive to my spouse and my spouse said he would have to leave if i didnt put my foot down,,I would have to give mom the ultimatum to respect him or stay out of our life.

It totally depends upon the situation. I think ideally ,that your spouse is the one person meant to be a part of you for life and should in most situations come first.

OP, you really need to be more specific about you question, I think. Who would you choose? With reference to what? Are we talking who gets to carve the turkey, or are we talking who gets the blood transfusion and who gets the box? And why do you ask? Do you have a particular concern causing you turmoil?
Sorry, I want to help, I just find the question confusing.

I'm never getting married so I won't have that problem.
