I have read your profile. I see that we are close in age, though I am older. Women, at this stage in their life, aren't accustom to someone asking them to check in. They are more interested in someone that wants to "check them out". I would like to ask you why it was important for you to know if someone would be interested in dating you based on a profile and picture on a site where you are new? When I see something like this I ask myself-"is this person unsure of himself that he is going to feel better if someone says yes". When I see this I think insecurity.

I know that at this stage in my life I don't need validation from others to tell me that I am dateable. You profile says you are looking for someone with integrity, honor, dignity and morals. What kind of integrity is it to base an assumption of suitability on some words in a profile? Most of us are more interested in really getting to know someone-and that means through interaction and writing. Only then would I be able to respond.


Try to know others through participating in the forums. That will give you a good indication of your level of interest in someone. You aren't going to attract what you wish to receive with a post like this in my opinion.

Most people wont believe me if I say we attract people just like ourselves. If I keep dating psychos, then I must be a psycho and just dont know it. If I attract someone who is miserable its becuase Im miserable and dont want to be alone. Just remember, a Rose still has thorns, becareful how you handle it.
