Ok I know this is just going to sound like a rant to alot people but I just want to know what is it that women on here want? I'm young, I have 2 good jobs, educated, I consider myself above all else a gentleman, and a little on the wild side. All of my friends say I'm a great guy but lately the dating scene and going out with friends has seen a drop in activity lol. All of my friends are either married now or have kids, and I'm at the point where I dont really need a girlfriend so much as I need a friend period. I lean towards the rock scene a alottle more thananything else but am very open to all types of music. All types. I live alone with my little wolf pup and as much as I love her I need to go out and have coffee and have looooong conversations about anything. Just need good company. Apparently though I'm the ugliest guy in the world and that's why no one wants to hang out lol. I just need an honest oopinion. It would only take about a minute to view my pics and read alittle about me. Any feed back and suggestions are welcome. But please be kind ^_^ not fair to kick a guy while he's down. Thanks all.

I have a few thoughts.

Before I even opened your profile, all I saw was the guy throwing "gang" signs in your main pic. I didn't know if that was you or not. First piece of advice: don't use a main pic that has other people in the frame -- use a solo.

I would have never opened your profile because of the "urban-ness" of "signs". To me, it's the same as pix of people throwing the bird. It's not a good first impression. When I opened you profile, there is another pic of that same guy doing the same thing so I guess that's HIS image. Thankfully, it wasn't you but don’t let his image taint your image.

Take out your IM name! That not only seems desperate but most spammers try to take members away from the site to the IM trap. Mingle has a great forum and email system. Stay here! It also seems like you want to corral a bunch of girls to one venue which doesn't make anyone feel special. I am always suspicious of guys that want to be IM buddies. I imagine him with 18 IM windows open juggling conversations. Turn off!

In your profile, you said "just ask". Well, your profile is supposed to be our edification to know if we are interested enough to contact you. 'Just ask' is used in every profile, therefore, perfunctory but also ... kinda of lazy. Add more to your profile to inspire conversation.

Keep in mind that no matter what we have to offer, at the end of the day, attraction is a key element. I have a lifetime of education, and all the substantial accomplishments to offer but if a guy needs another beer to look at me -- all that other stuff doesn't matter. I feel your frustration though.

Join the forums. I have met a lot of great people here rather than just cruising the profiles.

First of all Welcome to the site. I think Melody hit alot of things. Already...

Here are some of my thoughts...
You haven't been here long at all, one of the biggest mistakes I think a person makes is they come onto a site and think they are going to find the "one" in a day or two. Just doesn't really happy in RL maybe the movies not reality though.

Before I get to your profile here is somethings I think should be addressed.


Decide what you really want a Friend, a FWB, or a person to share your life with. If you haven't figured this out then how can you find what you are looking for.

I think we want the same things guys want someone to enjoy and share life with. That is honest etc... to me this isn't rocket science.
