So who else out there is a Vikings fan? I love football and nothing makes me happier then seeing my team kick butt!

As a Lions fan ( yes, they still have fans. Long suffering bunch that we are ) I just cannot allow myself to have a crush on a Vikings fan. But then again, that goes for Bears fans and it goes DOUBLE for Packers fans.

We are young overlords. For those that don't know -- "Immigrant Song" by Led Zeppelin. The song is dedicated to the Icelander Leif Ericson, and is sung from the perspective of Vikings rowing west from Scandinavia in search of new lands. The lyrics make explicit reference to Viking conquests and the Old Norse religion. Starting from the 2007 season, the Minnesota Vikings play this song during their team introductions and before kickoffs. During the 2007/8 football season, Brentford FC played this song immediately before kick-off.

I can honestly say I have players I admire who happen to play for the People-Eaters, but as an organization, no, I don't like the Vikings. I'm a Bronco fan, have pity on us here in the mile-high city, we have some re-tooling to do this off season, as so many teams do.
