Halls

A kindred soul wafts
through these halls.
Passing the pictures
framed on heart's walls.
A pause to reflect,
a reminder to tell,
how love is our purpose,
completing and well.

"My Mysterious Lover"

My mysterious and angelic lover
Oh! darling of my sweetest dreams
My eternal love is given to you
Cascading along the moon beams
I may not have seen you in life
I have yet to feel your soft skin
But somehow I know who you are
My heart flutters so deep within
I know you are somewhere and yet
You are nowhere within my grasp
I know you are here at this site
Wandering lonely corridors perhaps
Your passing by me like a Ghost
Through creaking doors into light
Oh!I have sweetly dreamed of you
Such tenderness & sheer delight
Angelic whisperings draw me close
To be captured within your snare
U tantalize me w/ your appearance
Yet I am fearful for if I dare
I never will reveal you darling
For that is not my mortal intent
I just pray to God you'll find me
Because your my Angel,Heaven sent
Each day such yearning is stronger
Yet weary though filled w/ delight
I feel your soft skin against me
Our hearts beat together in night
I will anxiously await to see you
My heart aches & whispers your name
If God does not bring us together
Then it is myself I have to blame
Please!let her hear my soft whisper
Do not let my words fall in vain
But within lies hope you will find me
With faith then my heart will sustain

Adrift

I have not o'er looked thee.
I see thee everyday.
Hoping thee would brush my cheek,
And linger awhile, just stay.

Until the time is ready,
We shall pass once more,
Awaiting time for just one kiss,
We drift to find our shore.
