I think we are missing my point in the OP. It wasn't about how we greet others during the holidays. I was making a point in this PC wourld we live that all stores say Happy Holidays yet Best Buy printing "Happy Eid Al-Adha" on the front page of their Thanksgiving circular is ok. Are we ok with a generic greeting for most religions but not for Muslims? Im ok with any 'greeting' but perhaps the difference is in knowledge of the consumers beliefs. I think if a circular is going to an area known for a high demographic of muslims,, for instance, that a muslim greeting included in the circular is understandable. I think that is an attempt to be more inclusive , not less. |

I personally avoid stores that are in the politically correct mind frame. I won't become so offended though that I lash out at others. I think that's why this thread headed in a different direction.
