On Thanks Giving Day before we eat and after Grace we each say something we are thankful for...
I am thankful that I have a roof over my head, a modest income and the people in my life... |

I am thankful for my family and friends, that I have finally found real love and that I am able to support my children on my own.....and that my divorce was final before Christmas.

We do the same, say grace then go around an say what we are thankful for.
This year I am thankful for my family, friends, learning more about who I am and how strong I really am, thankful my parents let me come back home an pay for my schooling. |

Why be thankful of all of this on only one day? Seems to defeat the purpose...of course I'm not quite sure why most holidays are celebrated in the manner most of them are to begin with...

Yes, am too, daily. At the very least, we do have a day to remind people to be thankful and focus on what they do have, not on what they don't...
