1st thing this am, 'hello'. Annoying, no one calls that early and so when it rings ... get a little worried.

telemarketing at it's finest - are you aware that you can report these calls to the do not call registry and that the company if not contacted by you can get in trouble and be fined.

My kid is having credit problems, and I'm getting calls. They are automated and when I answer it tells ME to HOLD. I hang up. Talk about rude!! If they want to talk to ME, they'd better be there!!!

What about getting a call from someone who has the nerve to ask who's this, when they are calling...

A month back someone wrote on here that they start asking the salesperson questions. So when they do catch me and it's a real person....I answer everything with a question back at them. When they really start to get flustered...I say 'honey, know you're try to work for a living and I'm sorry for ya' then hang up. They don't call back.

I haven't had to many problems... After I started my routine of asking totally insane questions...

I will even go to the point of asking if that is their real hair color... What ever enters my mind.

I think somewhere there is a list of all the crazy people NOT to call.

Call your phone company and get call blocking for those annoying calls. I had a demented woman that called over and over leaving long messages for her son. I called my phone company and received call blocking (not sure of the formal name). You can block any number you want, it's great.

I use to get those for my boy all the time. It would prompt me to say I was him, or he was not available..so at first just keep using the not available. Well, that would just have them keep calling for him. So I pushed the option
that I was him and got a live person..listened to him talk about some bill
and payment options. After he babbled on and on I told him...
This is my home, this is my phone number, my son does not live here, he is 23 years old and stop calling my house. So the guy gets all pissed off and tells me since I claimed to be him that I was claiming I was responsible for the bill in reference. oh chit, I went off..told him he better get my number off their list and not call again..if you would have ever given me an option to speak with someone I would have told you long ago, he doesn't live here.
The guy was a real d*cK..never called me again though.
