just look at people and feel sorry or have compassion, especially young kids, like in there teens, I feel sorry for them, am I the only one who feels stuff like this?

I feel sorry or laugh to myself. Cause it wasn't to long ago, I was that 'stupid' teenager.

I feel it constantly...for everyone.

I feel sorrow because I see the truth about the world,and I see the truth about myself, and I know deep down that I am no different

Everyday,,,every city,,,everywhere I drive to..

So I guess I am not alone.

Be kind, EVERYONE is struggling with something.

I would hope that everyone at one time or other feels compassion for another if not I sure would not want to be around them.

That is sooooooo true, even when we think there world is perfect.

WE are LIVING IN TIMES, of very scared people and with that,we as a people, are falling SHORT of CARING about ANYONE ELSE.
I see it everyday,,,on the roads,,,,its ALL ABOUT THEM....
And that saddins me greatly..
The RESPECT for each other,,,fellow truckers,,,,,is almost NO-WHERE to be found....THESE to me are the worst of times yet,,,for others to care about another,,,,when,,,IN FACT,,,,
This is the TIMES we should ALL CARE THE MOST,,,,,hard-times...

Back in the great depression,,,EVERYONE cared and HELPED each other out,,hey buddy can ya spare a dime.....?

and its getting worse everyday......

You are sooooo right, it is scary, and it shows how lacking we are as a society. When we stop caring about one another, the end is truly near.

Now just remember when the older people gave you advice and you didn't listen. Same thing happens when we try to help them.

I dunno, I am seeing more concern, more caring, more realness from people in almost all my life. People are friendlier, I think we've hit the realization now that we are all the same and in this together. I don't feel sorry for people, I do feel compassion and try to help in anyway can. Mostly..it's someone to listen to them and show that they are heard and that someone actually cares about what they think/feel. The sadness comes in when one realizes how much others are missing while they seemingly have all. They don't even realize what the human heart truly is and what it can do for others.

It seems some are being kinder because they are seeing their own..so to speak, in difficult situations. So it is closer to home to home.
Others are seeming to be more concerned about covering their own azz...
Like MMan said...just be kind, everyone is dealing with something all the time. It's really not hard to just be compassionate, should just come naturally, does for me.

People all have the capability to be compassionate...but something along life has taught them otherwise. Greed, mistreatment from others, poverty the list goes on and on. What comes naturally to people like us, maybe a inner strength, a gift where others are best in dealing with...say logic..computers- left brainers. I worked with severly disabled children and adults for a better part of life and realized immediately deep inside they were people like you and me inside and needed the same respect. The vast majority shuns them (severe dis. that no one really ever sees), and I had seen little from those who thought they were compassionate. Working with the homeless now...it is the same thing yet the awakening is part what you speak and then there is a greater awakening happening on this planet. Due to ..? some say 2012, some say technology and being exposed and seeing the atroscities...what ever it is, it is happening. I think that this little economic downfall- which in the 70's did not have the same effect as it is now is a (unfortunate!)good thing in many aspects.. . we are -so to speak- shining (for lack of a better word at present moment) more.

How refreshing to have another say that...that you are seeing a greater awakening, a shift, there is most definitely a huge shift in consciousness happening. Some know it, feel it and understand it. Some feel it, and don't know what the heck is happening...there are many changes coming. We all will begin to rearrange our priorities...the little things will start to become much more important than the big things..like big houses, big cars, big bank accounts. I think these are very exciting times right now..
Many speak of 2012 as the end..I'm so sick of hearing that garbage. There are changes coming alright, not the end. Perhaps a beginning...

It is and yes, has started.. life is lessons. What people go through they will repeat if they can't keep up or recognize the learning in the experience. Even with all the hardship going on...we all have it in the ways we can handle and grow to our fullest. That is why I don't feel sorry for people, just encourage and give them love..the only true healing energy.

It's begun. For me I have noticed that "karma" wastes no time. I mean for every action there is another reaction...I am very aware of my choices because I am finding that the consequence..or result of that choice comes VERY fast, either positive or negative. With in days, there is no time in between...does that make sense?
Kinda hard to explain.
I do still feel very sorry for some..I am just that way. I understand each has to take what is theirs as far as the lesson..I just have a very compassionate and open heart, so it is difficult for me to watch them learn their lesson...my empathy is to the point of ..ouch. I don't attempt to bail any one of of what needs to be done..I do however feel their pain with them.
Many will be learning much in the coming years...I'm optimistic.

My heart does ache for people, but feeling sorry- at least for me, wounded up many times in enabling them. I was down that road a bit a long time ago.. I truly beleive the harder someones life is the older the soul. Many times all another needs is some words of conciousness and you see the shift in their world.
Yes...the years of learning will be much quicker than in the past, everything has speeded up esp the last 30- 40 years.. My grandmother told me when I was about 13 that she lived in a age that none other would see, from lighting gas lamps on the streets to landing on the moon all in a maater of about 60 years..and now it is faster still. The lessons are quicker, I only hope as a race, that we are able to keep up.
