Just for the sake of presenting another side, I'd like to point out that you say "talked fine for a few days..." How long did it take for the entire thing to happen? If it's been less than a week, it's heading towards Thanksgiving (I know MY work is piling up extra right now), it is POSSIBLE that he's telling the truth about the work. You say he "can get on his dating profile everyday," as though you KNOW how he spends his day, how much time he's on. Do you? I know I at least GLANCE in my mailbox everyday, even when I'm running at breakneck speed to get to work. Someone with a mind to make accusations, could say "you aren't working your *** off at all! You checked your dating site email every day! (besides, I can still clearly see your ***, and it is still all-too-firmly attached)."
