I'm not coming back no more

Been here since the beginning of time
a desolate soul roaming the earth
my royalty clothed in torrid rain
since the moment of my birth

old souls collected along the way
begging for eternal release
to finally sleep uninterrupted
for heaven is a moment of peace

another day beckons the morning dew
tattered souls cry out in repressed sorrow
"the Raven" has once again returned
to feast upon the decay awaiting tomorrow.......


Have you ever felt that you've been here forever, and you've just realized you're tired....Don't worry, it's times like these I fight the hardest to maintain what little sanity I have left..........This poem was Inspired by my favorite Song Deja vu', by Teena Marie

Hon, being tired is what made me move to cali and it has been a life changing experience for me... what a wonderful new chapter!!
I ahve found that in my life when these moments happen I reflect on the good things in my loife and appreciate them just a little more.

Very nice poem, and yes I have always felt like I've been here forever. In fact, I'm certain of it.

It's funny that I found this poem tonight because I was just thinking similar thoughts. Life is an eternal stream. Of that I have no doubt.

Beautiful write...Reminds me of a wonderful friend of mine, who always tells me he has been here for many lives, and this lifetime will be his last, and he is looking forward to going "Home" for good this time...
