i still haven't seen elf, but does anyone remember the movie "Dutch" with Ed O'Neill? that one was kinda funny. i dunno. i thot so anyway. or how 'bout the griswolds "Christmas Vacation"?? national lampoon's anybody?

A Christmas Story- I watch at least one showing of it when they do the 24hrs. of it on either TBS or TNT. Always have to watch it. True classic.
The Ref- Love when Leary looks at the old Mom and says, "I know loan sharks that are nicer than you". 
Home Alone- "Is this toothbrush approved by the American Dental Association?" I cracked watching an eight year old kid ask this. Just a gem of a classic and one I have to watch every time the Holidays come around.

I hate the Hallmark holidays. I am not into family and kid stuff, so I am limited.
If the movie appeals to other factors then I love it! Actually, I haven’t watched any others except the old school ones from the 1960s and 70s. I crack up when I see commercials for “classics” and they were made in 1995. 
A Christmas Story and Jingle All The Way are my faves!

 to Bad Santa. OMG. That movie trips me out. Billy Bob is so mean to that kid, but it is freaking funny.

I suggested two and you forgot one: Jingle All The Way. DOH! sorry. i forgot about jingle all the way. i guess it's mandatory in california around the holidays considering the governator starred in it. he signed it into law that the movie is shown on network TV during the holidays. hahahaha!! |
