Laying in bed last night,

I tossed and I turned,

just didn't feel right.

So I took a walk through the empty rooms

trying to lift my gloom.

Knowing tomorrow I have to say goodbye,

just thinking about it

makes me want to cry.

Showered and shaved, laid my suit out on the bed.

I picture you there waiting, in that pretty blue shinny dress.

As a tear runs down my cheek, and my eyes turn burning red.

been thinking of how to say it, so I don't fall all apart.

Started driving to the place we're suppose to meet.

I told you this day would never come, I Prayed from my heart.

You always said, I'm always late, but today, you won't have to wait

I quietly parked the car, walked up to the door and stepped on in.

Walked over to where she was, I slowly placed my hands on hers.

Bent over and gave her a kiss, and whispered the words from within.

Goodbye mom, I love you so. I will never let your love go.

Clenching her hands as I laid over her and cried.

That is a really great thing to write for a friend. If i'm correct its about the loss of his/her mother. I lost my mom about three years ago.I still miss her very much. Thank you for sharing. Made me think of my mother

After recently spending a great mount of time with my mother, who was very sick,(she's good now)The thoughts of all this had flashed by in my own thoughts then.

I have had some friends here who have recently lost their mother's
and this was to show them I cared and to allow their hearts to know
we will all feel the sadness it brings when they leave us in this world.


I didn't want to depress anyone, just to let their hearts peek into its self for a chance to see a mother's love and your own for them.
