Even pic's don't do it for me. I wont meet someone without seeing them on a web cam first. I have nothing to hide, so why should anyone that interested in me.

I have done both met someone with out a picture and well it wasn't good..Now I usually ask to do a web cam session first. Just is easier all the way around.

I am not going to say I wouldn't meet someone without a picture.. would be more hesitant though.

Yes I have heard every excuse out there but if someone doesn't post a pic it usually ends up to be a scam. I am not going to waste my time on someone who is not secure enough to put a least one modest picture up.

It has very little to do with looks to me and more about not being sly. Pretty difficult to lie to a web cam.

I have met some really lovely people on this site some with photographs and some without. Some people hide behind pics. that show a whole lot of nothing, some are quite cute until you start chatting and then find out that they are very nasty people. Look at some of the photographs on here and see the words of these people as they ridicule others. Well done. Time for some people to wake up and realise that superficiality is your name. You go and meet some person in a bar take them home use them and spit them out. Again well done.
Ugliness...superficiality is thy name. Or perhaps one could say... superficiality,ugliness is thy name.
Find some one to have a relationship with that meets all of your criteria and learn to love then I suppose you should reject them on the basis that their hair colour is not what you want. Grow up.

True. A picture does nothing to guarantee a good personality but I do think it makes it a least a risk to the ones who post a photo if they are married or living with some one. Most people want to avoid getting caught up in that kind of mess.
