Actually, every day has been great. I might just be one of the luckiest, most blessed people I know! Can you share? Healthy, happy, successful by my definition...a new book advance...and re-connecting with someone special! Sounds like you have life in the bag...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Share your secrete with us all would you ????? Brother, no secret...like to think its just that Karma thing working...decided some time ago to be positive...try to leave things better than I find them. Tolerance, and a passion for everything I do...or else, why do it? I'm 59, feel half that...life is good! Happy thingy in my book At 49n there is alot to be happy about . Can you name one Or has the cat got your tongue??????????? Well, I have two job interviews this week. Went to one yesterday, and they offered me the job. We still are talking pay rate, but I am stalling as I want to interview for the other job. So that has been good for me. But an awesome thing happened yesterday. I was in Big Lots, just looking for a cheap area rug, and this lady was struggling with finding a mat that she liked. She saw me (I was dressed nicely as I had just left my job interview) and she honestly thought I worked at the store. She asked for my help with trying to find the price on the mat, so I helped her dig in the pile until we found one. We chatted, small talk, and eventually found one. She thanked me, and then saw that I didn't work for the store. She apologized, and I told her it was no trouble at all. She looked at me as if this shocked her, and thanked me again. I could tell that it meant alot to her that a stranger would help her out with something so simple as finding a price tag on a mat, even though I did not have to. I felt good because it made her smile. I honestly feel that if people would stop and be more not into themselves, and just do a random act of kindness sometimes, that the world would be a better place. |

A city worker showed up to turn off my friends power while I was watching his place. I paid his bill and kept his dog in AC.

I was incredibly sick with the flu and lying on the couch while my five year old was watching tv and I noticed he was staring at me. I asked him what was wrong and figured he was going to make a comment about how sick I looked. He smiled and said, " You're so cute mommy, I love you!" and kissed me on my head. That made me feel so much better than the gallon of Dayquil I had just taken!
