If a liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.” Actually that is the opposite of how it is. A conservative vegetarian will make meat morally and socially offensive and unacceptable eventually making it illegal. A liberal vegetarian will accept that everyone has the right to eat what they want. |

like telling my kids...I don't eat meat so I won't buy it and you have to eat what I eat...something like that JAG? Some need the enzymes in meat..my boys do, I don't.. that's another on of those..live and let live things..to each his own, what ever floats your boat, whatever makes you skirt fly up... know what I'm sayin..
Exactly. I really don't care if someone decides to not eat meat. Me and my cheeseburger will be over here>>> lol Too many people these days feel the need to force people into doing what THEY think is the right thing. It's the " We know what is best for you " syndrome. yeah, gotta let people be who they are. I have taken my kids to different churches, taught them about peace..share how I feel.. ultimately they decide for themselves. Kinda funny.. out of the 3 boys.. I have one smoker (i am a smoker) I have one vegetarian, 2 pacifists, and they are all very forgiving..one full of empathy, and 1 agnostic. All raised the same way. I raised my children to decide on their own when they are grown about religion. I have one Christian daughter and one on the fence daughter and my son is really not into religion at all. I raised them to be open to all lifestyles, races, cultures. It was a battle with the prejudice people in my family but I think I succeeded. I exposed them to gay folks and have fought for gay rights but none of my kids turned out to be gay like all the right wingers said they would if exposed which of course would have made no difference to me...lol |

too many people confuse conservative with Republican and liberal with Democrat
fer instance there are Texas Democrats that are more conservative than Massachusetts Republicans and there are Maine Republicans that are more liberal than some Democrats everybody believes something different and we don't have to agree. All we want is for the other person to have some character and integrity |
