Drink lots and lots of water. Sahuarita/Green Valley has about 45,000 people so it is small and about 35 minutes from downtown Tucson. Don't kill the rattlers but keep your eye out for em. |

just remember, its a dry heat. and look into getting a desert cruiser
2 or 4wd, the desert is beautiful and amazine. rockin, sunets & sunrises. a buddy of mine made pretty good money for bringing in snakes for the venom used in anti-venoms. casa grande 2003 |

I plan on leaving the snakes alone....so snake and heat is all i got to look forward to? What are the people like compared to east coast pushy and fast? I know there are lots of opportunity for hiking and camping which I plan on getting into once I get outthere, but then again there is that whole snake issue...

I would like to move to Phoenix or Tuscon personally, but I can only live so far away from work, hence Sahuarita...from what I heard it's only about 30 mins from Tucson, which isn't that bad...

Downtown Tucson is only about 15-20 mins down I-19 |

I've been through sauhuarita on my way to rio Rico and I think it is really a nice place... Seems more mysterious than where I live outside phoenix.
Snakes can be n issue but would rather retreat than confront you. Sadly its the people who hate them that usually find them..I've been trying to find a Tiger rattlesnake in the wild ever since I moved here five years ago...weak.. |

I just moved here myself too, the only thing i could really complain about are the drivers (sorry but its hard not to notice) so watch yourself on the road. I had 2 or 3 close calls the first week i was here

why of all places on gods green earth would anyone willingly move to arizona? it is hotter than hell and the people suck here for the most part. i have lived out here for 20 years and hated every minute of it. but no matter how hard i try to leave i end up coming back... its like a bad movie no matter how bad it sucks you can't seem to change the channel

Your best bet to find a tiger is to get out of the city and in a rocky area at night, they are pretty recluse and don't want any part of people...kinda like a coral snake! |
