Yeah, I heard that on the news the other day. Scary because what do you do for them. Do vets even know how to handle it in dogs?

Even at Church, where we do a sign of peace and everyone shakes hands with the people around them, now we just nod our heads and wish them peace--no physical contact because of the danger of spreading germs. Well its good they are taking precautions. This program is being offered through a church.Its not my Church nor my religion but that shouldn.t matter,I wouldn't think so anyway. |

Betty when it comes to volunteers everyone is always welcome. I love volunteering because I meet alot of great people who care about people. Some of the nicest people I know I have met through volunteer programs.

I have volunteered at the schools, at Church, at our local community center-they have a senior center, and with our local Lions Club and Optimist Club. If you contact the churches or senior centers in your area they can direct you. My Mom still does Meals on Wheels which is a program that delivers meals to shut-ins in her local area.

I know I haven't gotten to be on as much as usual. My life is interfering with my Mingle time  . When I check in some nights everyone is already gone. I've been playing on the forums. Everyone seems busy lately! So what is new with you?
Nothing much is new with me. Did see a request for volunteers in our community newspaper,to make breakfast for unprivileged kids before they go to school.I am seriously thinking of doing that. The flu thing is what s stopping so far. |
