A-Rod slipped as he was going up the steps, grabbed the closest thing to him so he wouldnt fall. simple.
You haters can watch that video while we WORLD CHAMPIONS watch our ticker tape parade. Enjoy. |

Way to rationalize. I don't begrudge a fan enjoying his team's big win. I just have to give them some ****. I've said it before - the Yankees have done a great job of acquiring the best free agents, working within the system, and most of those guys are players we would all want on our team. Congratulations to th New York Yankees. They deserved to win. That being said, there is something wrong with a sport that has no salary cap, whose highest payroll wins a championship. MLB needs to get in line with the NBA, NHL, and NFL. Hell, the MLS probably has a salary cap (not that anyone cares). |

Did you people actually think that the Yankees where going to lose this year. All year long they were on top of there game(yes every team has it's down swings) but when it came time to seal the deal they where able to rely on the experience and talent, just goes to show you that the Yankees are, and always will be the best team in baseball.
Congraulations to the World Champions New York Yankees |

Congraulations to the World Champions New York Yankees I still hate em, always have always will. I can't admire a sports team that has so much money they can do what they want and buy who they want. That's why I like hockey and football. |

MLB needs to get in line with the NBA, NHL, and NFL. Hell, the MLS probably has a salary cap (not that anyone cares). First off, the MLB has actually had more diversity of champions than any of the Capped leagues.. (and yes, the MLS has a cap, which is hurting it in the world of soccer.) NFL- 7 Winners past 10 Seasons(14 different teams played)2 teams account for 5 Super Bowl victories.. NHL- 7 Winners (Out of 10 teams to play)- 2 teams win multiple, 1 season lost NBA- 3 Winners (Out of 12 team)2 teams account for 9 champs. MLS- 6 Winners (Out of 9 Teams)3 teams win multiple champs. * Same time period, but 1 Champ. short, the playoffs are happening now. MLB- 8 Winners (Out of 14 teams)- 2 teams win multiple champs. in the time frame Doesn't help your argument when the uncapped sport has had the most different winners, and the best the other sports can do is tie for # of teams to play in the championship. |

congrats Yankee fans.......wait'll next year, ya bums...lmao oh and petitte sucked, you all should thank the phils manager for being an idiot and leaving Martinez in Like he had much of choice lol. Do we mean to say that THIS is the pitching staff that beat the Dodgers? You should be happy the Yankees won game 6 the way they did. The alternative is another one of Brad Lidge's blown saves. Think of the heart attacks, man. It wouldn't be pretty. |

^lol, yes they were for that week....many times and many seasons the best team in baseball never wins the world series......One event can and did turn this whole series around, in this one you can point to many things, but the non 3rd strike call to the batter that walked the guy before A-rod hit his home run was huge, umpires should be consistent if nothing else. However as a Phillie fan, I'm still happy for A0rod winning a world Title and finally getting his due as a yankee. The coach of the Yankees deserves a lot of credit to, he out managed Manuel by far, and he's a good quality guy.... |
