If you're the complete opposite of your significant other, do you think your relationship would last forever or just blow up at some point? Despite that we think "opposites attract" there are studies that show LIKE personalities attract. I'm sure there are some anomolies both in individual relationships and in the theory overall... Blow up? That's a matter of choice between two people, IMO.

Don't know how to explain this, but you can't categorize it like that. There is this "good" opposite, she lasted 5 years with me. A "bad" opposite, only 3 months.

I want someone to challenge me, balance me and inpire me. So, in some respects he would have to be the opposite.

Laws of Attraction more important than complete likes or opposites or somewhere in between. Relationships aren't usually black and white...ever evolving...dynamic. That's the fun!
