How many people have jobs they love? I would think less than how people many are in marriages they love.

I've wondered about that. I thought work was necessary to live, but I used to talk to a guy who said he was going to quit his job because he didn't "love it" and he insisted that he love every job he did. I thought that was interesting.

Me too. I thought that was pretty much the dumbest thing I'd ever heard. Especially since jobs aren't exactly dropping from the sky.

I had a job that I got paid very well to do, but I got burnt out on it. So, I left, and now am in the process of working temp jobs (in production and research and development) until I go back to school.

I do love my electronics, and I also want a certain vehicle that I know I will get in about 5-7 years. And, I do like to wear nice clothes, but I buy my nice clothes at places where I get them cheap. Hey, I can be a smart shopper, haha!

But all in all, I can live on a nice salary and be happy. I don't have to be filthy rich, but hey, if I do hit the lotto, then I won't complain.

Of course it's always a balance. Huge salary and a job that sucks, or a job that I love but can't pay my bills, either isn't what I want.

i used to always say job satisfaction. at this point, i'd settle for a neutral money flow. breaking even at 0 is a dream of mine.
