I just got word that there are 15 open full time spots open in my unit. The 1109th avcrad in groton ct. There are only 4 avcrad units in the whole us. Im next on the list for a spot and they are all sargent spots or higher. So after basic when i get back and i get to my unit ill be promoted to sargent. The avcrad is an avation unit. Im gonna be working on apache helicopter weapon systems and avation electronics makeing 40 bucks an hour. :)

That is definitely a good opportunity. After Basic and AIT, you should have a your slot locked down. That type of skill has ongoing training throughout your military career and great application posibilities in the civilian world.
