Lust is a burning desire to have sex with a given person.
Love is a profound connection with another person. I hope that helps. |

If you are looking for specific ways to differenciate between the two, I doubt if you will ever get a satisfactory answer. Generally lust can be described as an unhealthly desire. It could be sexual or maybe a yearning for what you don't have. Although one may admire what they don't have, a lust may cause one to act inappropriately. Love on the other hand could be healthy desire or admiration. Love will never cause one to harm or damage. Maybe the two are opposites.
Your question might require you to do some serious research involving professionals. Hope you find your answer, Bulldog. |

Lust is easier than love my friend....easier in that when you lust for something, you want it now, get it, use it for a bit, then you tire of it until the next lustful object comes around. Ahhhhh. See, I lusted for that XBOX 360 so bad, got it, played with it all the time, but then the PS3 came out, and it was my new lust. And.....oh wait.....damn! You weren't talking about video games were you?
