Cat Scratch Fever is classic with screwing up neighbors. That or a live set with the Sex Pistols, that right there is God awful... |

Roberta, you know I love you, and would do whatever I could for you to be treated well but I am not going to look the other way on this one.
I like to have a good time as much as the next person. There is always a time and a place to have a good time and not make other people miserable who maybe like their peace and quiet. Not everybody can party hardy just because you think it sounds like fun in your little corner of the world. Rights stop where they violate others rights. Just have to wonder why people can't have a good time with out blasting out the neighborhood. Like it or not we do have to live together. Or waste the time of the Police, which falls on the shoulders of everyone to pay for, to come out and tell you to act like good citizens. Thanks a lot. Suggesting it is ok to play some kind of song about killing cops is real bright. Might come a time you will want the cops around. You have a bunch of uninvited people crashing your party, vandelizing your vehicals, pulling a drive by; all things that happen in greater Sacramento; you think they are going to want to come back and save you? Gheez grow up already. |

Gheez grow up already. First off, we were at a private party. Secondly it was 8:00 when the cops arrived. Leagally we could have played till 10:00, but we shut down at 9:00 for the courteousy of the neighbors. And im 47.... I am grown up. Oh... and save the Whine and Gheez |

Last night we played a gig in Sacramento... and guess who showed up? The Sacramento Police Dept... apparantly we were too loud. CAN YOU IMAGINE ME AND MY BAND BEING TOO LOUD??? THE NERVE OF THOSE GUYS!!! We of course turned it down.. (until they left that is). It was a friggen ball!! You were all there in my heart. Roberta! Where were you guys playing last night? Since most clubs are in industrial areas, you guys must have been playing LOUD for the cops to show up!! The Boardwalk? Powerhouse Pub? The Hard Rock? The Firehouse? Next time let me know so I can go too! I love live music! |

I guess that self promotion thing again. How FUN!! I love private parties! Rock on ..... I hate grumpy neighbors. As long as you are shutting down before the noise abatement curfew then WTF? Life is so short for people to get their panties in a bunch over music (especially music that shuts down at 10pm). It's not like you guys are 17 year old troublemakers vandalizing cars and causing a commotion. I think adults should be allowed to have live music within the parameters allowed. If it was country or Wayne Newton or Michael Bolton ... no one would complain. Add a guitar tuned to D -- heavy bass -- and amps that blow your skirt up your arse -- then all of a sudden it's offensive! |
