Okay, I am awake in the middle of the night and feeling sorry for
myself. This is what happens when I don't sleep.

The anniversary of my Dad's death is next week. His Yartzheit was a bit
ago. The Hebrew calendar messes it all up so I get all weepy twice.

Was cleaning out my hotmail and found the final obituary that went in
the paper. That started the flood. I wish I could find the incredibly
smart a$$ed one that I wrote before my siblings decided that the
original was inappropriate. Daddy would have laughed at it and called
me a crazy kid.

Everything is breaking in my house (worst of all my a/c went out
completely) and my car needs work. Yes, I was spoiled and he took care
of getting things fixed for me. I paid the bills, but he set it all up.
He is not here to watch my son grow and to terrorize my Mom (in the
nicest way possible-they were together 48 years).

I know I was blessed to have him as long as I did, but it still sucks
and hurts. I had 34 years which is a lot longer than many have. He was
there to walk me down the aisle at my wedding and be there for my son's
birth (in the waiting room, of course).

Okay, enough of the weepies. Thanks for listening to my rant. I am
going to try to sleep now. If your parents are still with you, give
them a hug for me.

You can rant anytime you
want....its ok to miss your loved ones

Mom is still here yet but in relatively poor health. congestive heart
failure and some other issues. so i know that could come in the not to
far future

sorry for the loss of your dad....hugs :(

Lost my mom in 01/06, and dad is in the nursing home now with major
issues. Always hard to lose a parent or any loved one.

Don't apologize for needing to talk and share, that is why we are here,
we all do it. You are new here, you will find there is a big family of
good people on here and many will become your good friends once they get
to know you. Any time you want to talk, send me or one of us an e-mail.
Heck, I am a JSH addict and on here every night and love to talk.
Again, don't apologize, glad we could help. Take care and feel better.
