a smile to your face in an instant?......



For me it is hearing my granddaughter Kaitlynn telling me granny I love you the best......... or just hearing her laughter....

I love hearing babies laugh...

My dog when she comes up to give hugs literally...

A child's laughter is another one that is automatic

my grandkids call me grandma Bonnie(thats my real name)
we used to call my dad mom granny. and we would call my mom mom grandma

A smile from someone that was random it always makes me smile back at them.....

I feel like such a monster (for being so different) because when I hear kids (laugh, cry, talk, move, blink), I get highly annoyed. I sequester myself from all children as much as possible. I wish they had "no kids allowed" flights, restaurants, stores, zoos, beaches, etc. I would say I am sorry for my feelings but I'm not -- I just try to be as polite as possible and move away from kids undetected (so I don't hurt their feelings). I'm just happy there are good parents to raise children in a happy and healthy environment. The world needs better parents!

What makes me smile? My pets always but I love the rush of workingout or anything to do with adrenaline. I also have a sarcastic sense of humor so really silly, non sequitur humor fits me well!

Here is a good story! I volunteer every month at PAWS which is the Performing Animal Welfare Society for abused wildlife, circus animals, etc.

We built a new habitat for Arthur the bear because his mobility is limited as he gets older. He was shot in a tree, fell out, broke his hip, and was left for dead. He was not expected to live past 2 more years. Well, it's been 9 years and he is old, dust and grumpy!

When we finished the project, he was so happy! Special access was engineered to keep from having to climb or stress his hips. He loves his new pool and bamboo garden!!! THAT makes me smile!!

I won't change a diaper but I will clean up bear and elephant poop, build fences, and break nails any day for an animal!

I can't say, I'm....too shy....

Listening to the turkeys gobble and talk and the toms show how good looking they are, watching the chickens run around, laughing and the frisky horse... anything related to my critters

when the voices in my head stop talking

having my cat come up to me when I get home from work.
