"My Sweet Dream"

The rain was falling softly upon the roof
as I looked upon my lovers face,
and told her how much I loved her.

She did not hear me for she was still asleep.
I wonder what thoughts she is thinking?
I see her start to shiver as if having a bad dream.

Do I dare wake her from her slumber,
since she is resting so peacefully?
Or do I leave her alone - hoping in dreams,
that I am the white knight who comes to rescue
my beautifull princess???
